Material and product decisions made late in a project are almost always more expensive than ones made early. During preconstruction, we guide you through the key selections — finishes, fixtures, structural materials — so lead times are accounted for and nothing is being chosen under pressure mid-build. We work with trusted vendors and help you evaluate quality, cost, and lead time together and we will also collaborate with any design professionals that may be involved in the process.
We maintain ongoing, long-term working relationships with highly skilled subcontractors, and only work with those who consistently meet our standards for quality, efficiency, safety, and collaborative team dynamics. When seeking new subcontractors to work with, we conduct extensive screenings to ensure a good fit before we even request pricing. Prior to subcontractors beginning work on any of our projects, we expect a detailed scope of work, a signed agreement, proof of WSIB compliance, and general liability insurance certificates. Our in-house site supervision ensures that our high standards of quality and safety are always being met by everyone on our job sites.
A realistic schedule is one of the most valuable things we deliver before construction begins.
